HASA, INC. is a chemical manufacturing company primarily engaged in the production, sale, and distribution of sodium hypochlorite and related products to the industrial, water treatment and swimming pool markets in the western United States. HASA is family owned and operated. It has long been dedicated to both the needs of its customers and the impeccable standards of its product. The corporate office, comprised of a manufacturing facility, warehousing and administrative offices, is located in Southern California. Additional full production plants and distribution facilities are located in Central Arizona, Northern California and Southern Washington.
HASA was established in 1964 and expanded to its present location in 1972. Don Wilson, the CEO, began his career as a Michigan State University Graduate Chemical Engineer over 50 years ago. After a career with Standard Oil Company of Indiana, he moved west and began his affiliation with HASA; taking it from a struggling small divergent company, to a specialized, widely recognized industry leader.
Today, Mark S. Wilson, President of HASA, continues to build upon this leadership and commitment to excellence. In 1982 he expanded the company with a second plant in Arizona, and again in 1996 when a third facility in northern California was completed. This year, HASA extended its reach by opening a fourth plant in Washington. This allows HASA, already a recognized leader in the swimming pool and water treatment industries, to more easily service customers throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
HASA takes pride in being at the cutting edge. General Manager of the Northern California facility Lisa Johnson has a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado and over ten years of experience in the electronics industry, experience that allows HASA to be at the forefront of innovation. HASA is the inventor of the no-glug jug and was the first United States owner of a sodium hypochlorite Powell machine. Not only does HASA use the highest quality raw materials coupled with the most advanced production technology, but they make considerable effort to stay ahead of government and environmental standards, guaranteeing customers the cleanest, most stable pool and industrial sanitizing materials available.
Additionally, the transportation of HASA’s finished products – from the gallon jugs to 5,000 gallon tankers – is handled by HASA’s own vehicle fleet, enabling the product to reach customers swiftly and safely.
Primary industrial products include sodium hypochlorite and muriatic acid. While the swimming pool and spa trades are offered a full line of liquid and dry sanitizing products as well as a complimentary line of specialty products to enhance the pool experience.
With years of experience in the chemical field and superior production capability, HASA, Inc. remains dedicated to helping you enjoy clean, clear, and safe water for many years to come
