Jeff Bucknum will take on his first one mile oval track in an IndyCar this weekend with some added attention. The Milwaukee Mile event if promoted by none other than AJ Foyt and the title event sponsor is ABC Supply. No less than 1700 ABC employees and guests will be attending the event and will have ample opportunity to meet AJ, Jeff and the entire racing team. Obviously there will be high expectations for a good result.

"We have done a ton of things to get ready for this event," stated Jeff. "AJ has hired Len Paskus to join the engineering effort. I have worked with Len several times with other teams and we have a terrific working rapport. With his involvement along with Bruce Ashmore and, of course AJ himself, I will be well served at Milwaukee."

"It looks like a fun but very challenging circuit. I am amazed and impressed at the speed IndyCars achieve at this track. It is only a mile and flat but very, very fast. I have renewed confidence I will have a competitive car and proudly represent AJ and the entire ABC family."

"ABC Supply knows how to get the most out of their sponsorship role. I have met so many of their team, both staff, front line employees and families and they provide me with a lot of support. It is very important to me to give them a good show and good finish to show my thanks for the support they give."

On track events begin Friday with two practice sessions. Saturday includes one practice followed by qualifying at 12:15 CDT. The ABC Supply Co. AJ Foyt 225 will flag off at 12:45 pm CDT Sunday and will be shown live on ESPN. You can follow each of the sessions on Indycar.com.
